The class ended up being 75% film, 25% digital. I learned great composition, how to really read the frame, and how to develop my film! Our last project was a digital essay on the Art + Architecture Building. I’ve posted my final pictures under the Photography – Buildings – Arch Building Essay, or just click Here.

I’ll try posting Fall Studio pictures later this week or next. We’re in the middle of a Studio project so I’m  busy now.

I’ll post a more specific program and my preliminary designs later this week.

Student were placed in groups of 3, with each member having a different amount of experience at the college. The goal was to not only produce a Maximum design with minimal cost, but to bring the college’s architecture students together. Students were charged with the task of redesigning the interior of the downtown studio, where 5th year, graduate students, and faculty work.

Our group’s design was based around maximizing the small amount of natural light available,minimizing the material cost, all while bringing both student and faculty together.
